Sizzling Mexico City: From Tacos to Treasures

Ever thought of packing your bags for an exotic escape that serves more than just beach vibes? Picture this: a city bursting with color, culture, artsy corners, and – wait for it – a food scene that will make your taste buds dance the cha-cha! If you’re in for an experience that’s both insta-worthy and delicious, then darling, Mexico City is calling your name.

Stay in Style

Sofitel Mexico City Reforma is not just a hotel; it’s an experience. Tucked away in the heartbeat of the city, the view from here is beyond glam. Spot the iconic Angel of Independence from your window while you sip on an oddly satisfying cold hot chocolate (Yes, it’s a thing!). And oh, did I mention the lovely Alebrije in my room? A whimsical folk sculpture, and my newest décor inspo.

Eat your Heart Out

For the brunch queens, Balta serves a dreamy mix of French and Mexican morning delights – think huevos rancheros meets croque-monsieurs. Dinner at Bajel is no less than a couture show – every plate is an artwork. As the night falls, the chic vibe at Cityzen will make you want to raise your cocktail glass high and toast to this stunning city!

Relax, Refresh, Rejuvenate

Who knew relaxation could be this luxurious? At Sofitel’s spa, I drifted into dreamland during the Urban Detox facial. And guess what? L’Occitane products, gals! Heart-eyes. Perfect for that dewy vacation skin!

Cultural Catwalk

Once I was done channeling my inner goddess at the spa, I took a fashionable strut to the Soumaya Museum. The museum itself is architectural goals! And if you’re someone who counts steps, this place is a runway. And speaking of fashion legends, Frida Kahlo’s vibrant blue home, Casa Azul, is a must-visit. Tip: Book in advance, this beauty is in demand!

Tac-o’bout Delicious

Now, for the highlight. The TACO TOUR! From El Tizoncito where the Al Pastor taco was birthed (and yes, it tastes like history and magic) to the seafood spectacular at El Pescadito, this city knows how to serve a plate of happiness.

Want something a tad extra? At Colmillo, every dish is a statement. My spicy margarita? Served in a golden owl pitcher. And Migrante is every bit chic with dishes that are pure art. And sweet tooths, don’t miss out on Contramar – the strawberry meringue is a slice of heaven.

In a Nutshell

From its streets that narrate stories of art and history to tacos that will make you want to write poems, Mexico City is the runway every fashionista needs to walk. Until next time, keep it stylish and scrumptious!
