WHAT IS OUR HOME GYM?

The fact that my hair was still red indicates that these photos were likely taken some time ago. Nevertheless, I’ve recently shared a lot of photos of my home gym in my stories and received a ton of inquiries, so I thought I’d use my blog to offer everyone a better tour.

Working out at home has been so enjoyable. Because we collaborated with Nordictrack and iFit and have their equipment, I wanted to talk more about it in this post. I’ll be honest: I had anticipated getting machines that resembled those at my gym, but they blew my mind!

This kind of machinery was new to me. The elliptical, cycle, treadmill, and rowing machine are available for cardio. The rowing machine is probably my personal favorite since you can choose exercises on the screen that either give you the impression that you are rowing down a real body of water because there are so many options! Alternatively, you can work out with a trainer. One of my faves is a brief 15-minute workout that involves interval training on and off a rowing machine. Given that he has been preparing for another triathlon, David’s favorite machine is the treadmill. You have the option of hiking, running, or working out with a trainer. But in preparation for a surf trip, he has been engaging in HIT training activities on the rowing machine that combines floor work with time spent on and off the machine. The treadmill’s ability to automatically modify is its best feature; for example, if you are hiking uphill, the treadmill will change its inclination and speed so that you feel as though you are actually hiking. I enjoy using the treadmill for trainer workouts because I enjoy anything that involves interval training. It has inspired me to try new speeds and incline levels that I ordinarily wouldn’t.

The same is true with the Fusion machine: you can do weighted workouts while using it, and the weight will adapt automatically based on your profile and the exercise. I adore this machine because I enjoy doing light cardio while primarily doing weights. There are countless things you can do with it, and the workouts you see on the screen are incredibly beneficial because some of the exercises I had never seen before, make it exciting to switch things up.

We have been enjoying working out together, and I just published a few of my workouts on Instagram Stories. If I am courageous enough, I will try to store them all in a highlighted folder.

Thank you, Nordictrack and iFit, for the fantastic equipment!
